Cowboy is Maddie's main boy, and is loved by everyone. This flashy nine year old paint has taken her through the last few years of 4H Western Horsemanship and Showmanship, and has brought in countless ribbons. Maddie started running barrels and poles on him, and he loves it more than anything.
Maddie and Cowboy haven't always been a pair, he started as my son Dane's 4H horse. After Dane got out of horses, Cowboy wasn't ridden much for a few years until Maddie decided she would make him her 4H horse. At first, he only wanted to run everywhere and hated collection, but with a lot of hard work and time, Maddie has turned him into the best 4H horse.
Cowboy has given a few lessons to more advanced lesson boys, but his love lies with competing with Maddie.
